Found & Fixed is a worker-owned cooperative in the Hudson Valley that repairs, refinishes, and reimagines solid-wood and wood-veneer furniture. Founded in 2022, the Highland shop keeps usable pieces out of landfills while preserving their age and character rather than forcing them to look brand new. The team also creates and sells its own furniture, often using reclaimed, salvaged, or scrap materials.

FN FurnitureArtist and woodworker Ken Landauer founded FN Furniture in 2017, building a Hudson Valley company around affordable, comfortable design with an activist’s zero-waste approach. Its furniture is locally fabricated from carefully nested plywood or recycled plastic parts, leaving almost nothing behind from each sheet. Cardinal WoodworkingFounded in 2015, Cardinal Woodworking turns reclaimed old-growth timber and family furniture into custom wood pieces, including heritage tables and other furniture made for a particular home. The craft grows from a family tradition: the owner learned woodworking, joinery and furniture building by watching a grandfather build boats and a father work in his garage shop.
