Hartzler Family Dairy, Inc. is a family-owned Wooster dairy that farms, processes and sells minimally processed milk along with dairy products such as cheese and hand-packed ice cream. Harold and Patricia Hartzler began farming in Wayne County in the early 1950s, and the family opened its Wooster storefront and processing plant in 1996. Today, Joe Hartzler and his son Jace run the business under the family philosophy “As Nature Intended,” using pasture-fed cows in warm months and returning milk in reusable glass bottles.
