From a small shop in Kensington, Ohio, Kibler’s Longrifles designs historically correct muzzleloaders and turns them into precision-machined kits for customers to assemble and finish themselves. Founder Jim Kibler began building flintlocks by hand in 1990, then combined that gunsmithing background with his metallurgical engineering experience in 2015, using in-house CNC machining to make historically faithful rifles with consistent fit. The company remains a small crew, with Jim and Katherine Kibler helping builders create their own working piece of American firearms history.
