Since Rose Kravitz opened a neighborhood corner store in 1939, Kravitz Deli has grown into a Mahoning Valley institution built around house-made corned beef, traditional deli fare and family recipes. The Belmont Avenue business is the oldest operating business on that corridor, and after three generations of Kravitz family involvement, ownership passed in 2022 to the family of Matthew Rydarowicz, who continues the deli’s local and family-centered tradition.
