Since 1961, Lake Erie Frozen Foods has made frozen appetizers for restaurant and retail food customers, with breaded and battered specialties produced at its Ashland, Ohio facility. The 20,000-square-foot operation includes 10,000 square feet of USDA-inspected production space and can produce about 20,000 pounds per shift. Its products reach more than 250 distributors across the United States, Canada, and Europe, and the company also develops custom-coated and custom-packed appetizers for restaurant chains.
