Love Beets is a beet-food company founded by husband-and-wife team Guy and Katherine Shropshire, whose family had grown salad vegetables in England. After bringing marinated baby beets to New York in 2010, the family built a U.S. brand and invested in its own production facility in Rochester, New York, in 2016. The company makes ready-to-eat beet products, with most of its beets sourced from farms in the United States, especially upstate New York.

• Stony Brook WholeHeartedFoodsSince 2007, family-owned and founder-run Stony Brook WholeHeartedFoods has made US-grown seed snacks, culinary oils, and seed powders in its own Geneva, New York production kitchen. Working with Finger Lakes farmers, the company roasts seeds in small batches and expeller-presses the same harvest into fresh, single-ingredient oils, while milling the remaining presscake into powders.
