Founded in Koufalia in 1950 by Konstantinos Chatzakos, ΜΕΒΓΑΛ is a Greek dairy manufacturer producing milk, yogurt and cheese for the domestic market and exports. The family company still has the Chatzakos family in its leadership, drawing fresh milk from 54 farms in Central Macedonia and moving it to the factory within about an hour. ΜΕΒΓΑΛ has exported Greek yogurt and cheeses since 1985 and now reaches 30 countries, while its long-running “No Child Without Milk” program provides more than 300 servings of milk each day to children in care structures across Greece.
