Founded in May 2026 by Sean Lin in Carrollton, National Cold Vault is building cellular temperature monitors for medical refrigerators holding privately purchased vaccines and other temperature-sensitive medicines. Its LTE-M units use an independent battery-backed connection instead of facility Wi-Fi, while tamper-evident records and annual probe replacement are designed to support inspections and document excursions. The new Ohio company plans to ship its first 50 units by March 31, 2027, with Lin handling customer support and local delivery himself.
