Started by Westchester County student Sam Nadol as a 2017 repair hobby, RebootPC, Inc. refurbished donated computers and redistributed them to people and organizations lacking access to technology. The 501(c)(3) nonprofit also kept usable equipment out of the waste stream, partnering with local towns and community groups before ceasing operations in 2026 and transferring its stock and supplies to Computers4People.
