Founded in Rochester in 2018 as The Shore Foundation, Shift2 refurbishes donated business technology and connects it with schools, nonprofits, and community members who need reliable computers. The nonprofit individually tests devices, securely erases their data, and responsibly recycles equipment that cannot be reused, giving corporate technology a second direction instead of sending it straight to a landfill. Shift2 marked its fifth anniversary in 2023 by adopting the name that captures its focus on second chances and digital connection.

Cincinnati Computer ReuseSince 2002, Cincinnati Computer Reuse has turned donated computers into affordable refurbished technology for Greater Cincinnati families, students, schools, and nonprofits.
