Since Oliver C. Ritchey founded it on his farm in 1940, Ritchey’s Dairy has processed local milk into dairy products, ice cream and drinks for central western Pennsylvania. Milk arrives from farms within five miles of the Martinsburg plant, and the family’s home-delivery tradition continues alongside wholesale service and its ice cream store. In 2024, Chris Ritchey joined the management team, making him the fifth generation of the family to lead the dairy.
