What began as Ed and Rosemary Burchell’s retirement farm in Monkton in 1986 became Roseda Black Angus Farm in 1996, raising local Black Angus cattle and producing all-natural, dry-aged beef. On 350 acres with about 600 head of cattle, the family-run operation tracks its animals from birth through processing, using selected genetics and a 14-to-21-day dry-aging process. Roseda also works with 45 local farm partners and powers its farm and store with solar energy.
