Founded by Franco and Flora Scalamandré in 1929, Scalamandré creates luxury textiles and interior furnishings, with a particular reputation for historically informed fabrics, wallcoverings and custom restoration work. Its signature Leaping Zebras design and commissions for places such as the White House reflect a company that carries an unusually deep American design archive into contemporary interiors.
