Shunpike Dairy was a family-owned upstate New York dairy farm, rooted in the Baldwin family’s Tonelwin Farm since the 1930s, that produced and sold raw milk. Elizabeth Baldwin opened the Millbrook operation in 2010 after earning New York State certification for raw-milk sales, welcoming visitors to a farm with several cattle breeds and other animals. After nine years of service, Shunpike Dairy is officially retired.

Dygert Farms CreameryDygert Farms Creamery is a 13th-generation dairy farm and on-farm creamery in New York’s Mohawk Valley, producing milk from its own cows and processing it on the family farm since 2021. The operation traces its roots to 1723, when the Dygert family received the original 50 acres, and remains one of the area’s few operational bicentennial farms. Ronnybrook Farm DairyFounded by the Osofsky family in 1941, Ronnybrook Farm Dairy is a Hudson Valley dairy that bottles unhomogenized milk in glass and makes minimally processed dairy products on the farm. Woodside Farm CreamerySince the Mitchell family established Woodside Farm in 1796, it has remained a family-owned agricultural operation; today, Woodside Farm Creamery makes fresh homemade ice cream on the farm using milk from its herd of more than 30 Jersey cows. The farm resumed dairying in 1995 and opened the Creamery in 1998, while continuing to sell farm-fresh eggs and other farm products.
