For more than 80 years, Empire Kosher Poultry has produced kosher chicken, turkey and meat, managing the chain from hatching and growing through processing, packaging and shipping. Founded on Joseph Katz’s vision, the company makes kashrut its first priority, with rabbis inspecting every chicken and turkey and family farms supporting its farm-to-table operation.

David Elliot Poultry FarmSince 1942, the Fink family has run David Elliot Poultry Farm, processing kosher poultry from its Scranton facility for families, chefs, restaurants and caterers. The third-generation family business is especially known for smaller, tender Rock Cornish hens and for treating kashrus as a hands-on responsibility, with in-house full-time shochatim and careful inspection throughout processing. Birds are raised on small family farms in Pennsylvania and shipped fresh from the facility to regional shelves, often by the next morning.SCRANTON, PA
