Founded by a farmer and school teacher, Green Top Farms is an independently owned New York business that has spent more than a decade connecting local farms with nutritious meals. Its seasonal approach supports workplace dining while also extending to schools and community agencies, including through work that has delivered more than 3 million meals to New York’s homebound elderly and food-insecure residents.

  East End FoodFrom a Riverhead food hub, East End Food connects East End farms and small food businesses with markets and community institutions while working to make nourishing local food more accessible. Founded through community-led programming in 2010, the nonprofit has processed surplus produce, distributed food to schools and food pantries, and supported more than 40 vendors through its indoor market. • Katchkie FarmKatchkie Farm grows NOFA-certified organic produce year-round on a 60-acre farm in Kinderhook, with its first harvest dating to 2007. Owned by NYC catering company Great Performances, the farm pairs a direct-to-consumer CSA with holistic land stewardship and a strong farm-to-table focus. It is known for combining an in-house operation with a broad partner network to supply more than 10,000 schools and other institutions, delivering over 100 million food portions each year. • Heavenly HARVST FoundationFounded in New York City in 2015 by former Waldorf Astoria executive chef John Doherty, Heavenly HARVST Foundation produces and provides chef-curated, shelf-stable meals to hunger-relief programs. Its ready-to-eat meals are made without preservatives or artificial flavorings, designed to offer substantial nutrition and dignity to families who may lack reliable access to food or a full kitchen.
