Founded by Jeff Bloise in 1986 as a one-man pallet-and-crate shop, JB Mill & Fabricating now turns locally harvested timber into hardwood lumber, custom industrial wood products and landscape materials in western Pennsylvania. Still family-owned and operated, the company has grown to 35 acres and more than 100 employees, while its hardwood lumber supplies local furniture makers and its products reach customers across more than 20 states. Its foresters also work directly with landowners on customized timber-management plans, connecting forest stewardship with the mill’s production.

Its tree-length harvesting and milling system produces customer-specified lengths, while the company is especially known for custom wide-plank hardwood flooring and operates a kiln with 350,000 board feet of capacity.
