Since 1975, farmer-owned Johnson Berry Farm has grown organic berries on its Olympia, Washington, farm and turned them into small-batch jams shipped directly from the farm. Jim Johnson develops the recipes, including the farm’s distinctive pepper jams, while the operation sells through the Olympia Farmers Market and has maintained a presence there for 43 years. The farm became certified organic in 1991 and has been a Pike Place Market member since 2000.
