Now in its fourth generation, Summer Wind Farms is a 100-plus-acre South Jersey family farm growing USDA-certified organic produce, garden plants and its much-noted Jersey tomatoes. Owned by Frank A. Ferrucci, whose family has farmed in Franklin Township for 109 years, the farm supplies CSA members, wholesale customers and a retail market in Medford. Its tomatoes are grown in protected high tunnels, a practice that helps extend the season while producing firmer fruit with a longer shelf life.
