Since 2002, brothers Lael and Jacob Eisman have cared for Six Circles Farm, a 40-acre lakeside farm in Caywood that grows outstanding hardneck garlic alongside diverse vegetables, fruits, and nuts. They sell through Finger Lakes farmers markets, a CSA, and local food products such as their signature garlic scape pesto. The farm follows ecological, beyond-organic practices, building soil with cover crops and compost while avoiding synthetic fertilizers and chemical sprays.
