Weaver Brothers Sawmill is a Mifflinburg-area forest-to-market company that buys standing timber, manages and harvests it, and saws the wood at its own local mill. Established by John Weaver in 2007, the family-staffed business combines his more than 17 years of timber-industry experience with on-site oversight and Pennsylvania Sustainable Forestry Initiative training. Previously known as Cowan Lumber, it works directly with timber owners to plan harvesting and support sustainable long-term forest yields.
