Founded by East Harlem native Daniel Garcia in 1990, Salsa Caterers & Special Events has grown from a small South Bronx kitchen into a New York–area catering company with more than 35 years of experience. The company is known for bringing its Caribbean and Latino culinary heritage to events for organizations, businesses, and community groups, including work for the Mayor of New York City at Gracie Mansion.

• Insatiable EatsSicilian-born chef Marco Barrila’s Insatiable Eats has been bringing full-service catering and event planning to the Hamptons, Long Island and New York City since 2010. The company handles off-premise celebrations and corporate events at intimate or very large scale, pairing seasonal, locally sourced cooking with restaurant-style service and custom event design. Founded by Gerard Duffy and now run with Melanie, the family business is known for its traditional bagel craft, homemade deli fare, and deep community involvement—including feeding first responders and neighbors during September 11 and Hurricane Sandy.
